Security and IT professionals interested in using decoy systems to identify
security breaches (from the reconnaissance process to the forensic
process).

Course Description
In this course Laura begins with the definitions of honeypots and
honeynets and defines the advantages of virtual honeynets over physical
honeynets. What are the advantages of having a honeypot and what are
various configuration options (mine fields, sacrificial lambs, etc.). During
this course, Laura demonstrates a honeypot configuration process and
shows the results of a hit on a honeypot target. You'll learn how honeypots
might be detected on the network, the hot honeypot solutions and how to
get started!
